Walk/5k for
Healing Hearts

The Walk for Healing Hearts brings together IHH families and their loved ones to raise money and awareness for congenital heart defects and walk in honor of our Heart Heroes. A breakfast, silent auction, and butterfly release Angel Ceremony are also traditionally part of the morning.

2017 Walk registration is open now through August 21st!

This year’s walk is at Riverton City Park which is a beautiful open space that features many playgrounds and a very nice concrete walking path. There will be appearances by 501st Legion characters and Kids Heroes. There will also be an ARUP blood drive to give you the opportunity to give back to the community.

We will be serving a breakfast for a small donation so be sure to bring your appetites! The event ends with a butterfly release angel ceremony where our families to honor their heart angels.

We have many exciting silent auction items already lined up and ready for you to bid on. All proceeds go to Intermountain Healing Hearts in an effort to raise CHD awareness and provide support for families who have had children born with congenital heart defects or have childhood onset heart disease.

The 2016 Walk/5K was amazing!!!

2016's walk for Intermountain Healing Hearts was special. We coordinated with a great partner, Geek'd Out Events, to have more impact. The event was held at West Jordan Veterans Memorial park. Each registered participant received a special t-shirt. The Geek'd Out Events 5K was called The Potter Run and they had around 800+ runners come out in costume to race for a great cause.  This year we were that cause.

2015's event was packed with fun!

We had the Alpine Garrison of the 501st Legion on hand for photo-ops and Red Cross Blood Services was on hand taking blood donations. We also had other various hero characters wandering the park to take pictures with the kids.
