2017 Heroes of the Heart Gala

Atendees enjoyed an evening of elegance at the inaugural Heroes of the Heart Gala, hosted by Utah-based Intermountain Healing Hearts (IHH). This black tie soirée celebrated our 10th anniversary supporting families of those born with heart defects or with childhood onset heart disease in the Intermountain West and beyond.

Members of the community joined us at this exclusive event, honoring Dr. Robert Gray who was nominated by the families we support. They mingled with influential executives and community leaders at the intimate Garden Place at Heritage Park on Saturday, November 4, 2017. Festivities at this 21 and over event included a drinks reception, silent auction, seated dinner, program with live entertainment, and dancing.

Exciting Highlights

Event Goal

The evening included:

  • Honoring local doctor, Dr. Robert Gray, nominated by IHH families.
  • Silent Auction featuring a BYU vs. U of U bid-off, fine art, and vacation opportunities.
  • Intimate setting limited to 150 guests.
  • Networking with affluent community leaders and business executives.
  • Dinner program with live entertainment.

Nearly 1 in every 100 babies born in the United States has CHD. The inaugural Heroes of the Heart Gala celebrated our 10th anniversary supporting these heart warriors and their families. We aimed to raise funds to increase the assistance we offer our steadily growing member base. With the generosity and support of businesses and individuals we look forward to not only keeping up with the increasing demand for our non-profit organization’s services but also building and improving upon the assistance we are able to provide.
